The Invacare Bariatric Bed is a heavy-duty full-electric bed frame designed for bariatric individuals. It is capable of supporting patients who weigh up to 600 lbs. The bed frame extends to the edges of the bed deck for better support than most other split-spring bariatric beds. Using the hand pendant, the patient or caregiver is able to change the positioning of the head and foot sections, as well as the bed height. Despite being substantial in size, bed setup within the home is easy - no special tools are needed. The BAR600IVC can also include the Bariatric Foam Mattress, which is designed for extended life while providing comfort and support needed for bariatric patients. The mattress is constructed of latex-free materials; has a durable 11-once vinyl cover; the solid inner core mattress is reversible and flippable. The BAR600IVC also can include half-length bed rails. The half-length rails are heavy duty 1" chrome plated; have a welded steel construction; have a reduced gap; and host bolt-on hardware for added strength.
