About Bariatric Hospital Beds
A bariatric hospital bed is a specialized bed designed for use by patients who are overweight or obese. These beds are typically wider and have a higher weight capacity than standard hospital beds, and they may also have additional features such as motorized head and footrests, built-in scales, and handrails to help patients get in and out of bed. Bariatric hospital beds are typically used in hospitals, nursing homes, and other healthcare facilities to provide support and comfort to patients who require extra space and stability due to their size. They can also be used in the home for patients who need ongoing care and support.
