The Protekt Aire 8900 is a heavy duty, 660 pound capacity mattress system that boasts three therapies in one system: low air loss, alternating pressure, and pulsation. The 8900 also includes "on demand side air bolsters," which mitigates accidental patient roll-outs and reduce the risk of entrapment, and have a “quick deflate” twist release valve to allow the use of the mattress with or without the raised air bolsters.
