The Universal Therapy System (UTS) Mattress by Great Life Healthcare provides the patient with world class care and comfort. The UTS has integrated automatic weight sensing technology to provide maximal distribution of patient weight through a low pressure alternating mode and a continuous low pressure mode in one air mattress system, resulting in high levels of pressure relief to prevent and treat pressure ulcers up to stage 4. UTS works on the principle of actively  encouraging blood flow by gently increasing and decreasing pressure within the support surface over a 10 minute cycle, resulting in the reduction of surface pressures helping to prevent tissue breakdown and encourage healing.
